ELITE RECYCLING
About the exhibition
A contribution to the group exhibition »ZERTEILT«.
Tübingen, a rich city where people vote green, inherit wealth and have a high income, where there is hardly any industry, where you are cut off from the world between the hills of the university and the elitist old town.

Tü-Queens
About the exhibition
Often I am impressed by the diversity of this city. Especially the different subcultures, they not only interest me personally but also inspire and influence me. My contribution for the group exhibition “Blickfeld” focuses on the drag community in Tübingen and especially the people who live this art form.
Nordstadtromantik
About the exhibition
With its own aesthetics, Tübingen’s Nordstadt stands in stark contrast to the medieval old town and has a special attraction to me. Many buildings feature visible concrete and characterized by plain elements. This part of the city was predominantly conceived in the 1960s and 1970s and envisioned a future that never happened - somehow romantic.
smalltown exposures
About the exhibition
smalltown exposures - an art exhibition about the skateboarding subculture of Tübingen. For many years Ken Werner portrayed the small but very active skateboarding scene in Tübingen, a provincial university town in southwest Germany. His work reveals the energy and beauty of skateboarding at the intersection of documentary and artistic photography. The 67 images of the exhibition are raw and intimate, capturing the essence of this subculture with an unrivaled level of authenticity.
INSIDE OUT
About the exhibition
INSIDE OUT. See it, feel it - street photography. A joint exhibition with the works of Max Raulff and Ken Werner curated by Kuneprojects.
Schlachthof Tübingen
About the exhibition
The photo exhibition deals with the premises of the former slaughterhouse and consists of two parts. The motifs on the wall show architecture and details of the interior in their “naked” form: Without people, without movement. A sober, graphic and reduced aesthetic unfolds. While the small-format motifs of the central hanging, on the other hand, show the first hint of a possible new future for the premises. The use for art and culture for the people.
ITZ S/W
About the exhibition
Ken Werner portrayed the first fifteen months of the “Institut für theatrale Zukunftsforschung” aka ITZ in Tübingen. During that time enthralling and unusual insights into the world of theater have been created. The resulting exhibition displays works at the intersection of documentary and artistic photography.
